Upamaka is a village in Nakkapalle mandal of Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh in India, where an ancient temple of Lord Venkateswara Swamy is present. Upamaka, is a small village very much like a Minnow.The temple, located from 1 km from Nakkapalli on the National Highway, about 80 km from here, said to have been established in the sixth century is visited by a large number of devotees through out the year and the annual Kalyanostavam attracts more devotees from the neighbouring districts also. The hill on which the temple is located is in the shape of Garuda. There is temple of Sri Venugopala Swamy at the foothill.
